PNB net increases 5.5% in Q3

Punjab National Bank has increased its net profit by 5.52% to rs.1,150 crore during the December quarter, 2011 as compared to Rs.1,089.77 crore in the same period of the last year.

The total income of the bank has increased to rs.10,435.12 crore in the October-December period ended  quarter of financial year 2012 as compared to Rs.7,976.35 crore in the same period of the last financial year.

The shares of PNB were down by 1.63% to Rs.940.30 per share during the last trade on BSE. The scrip has touched a day high of Rs.982 per share and a day low of Rs.921.20 per share in the Mumbai market.
