RE power secures order from French firm

RE power has bagged a contract from French firm to supply wind turbines for 250 Mega watt capacity plant

The company has entered into an agreement with Maia Eolis, a subsidiary of Maia Group and GDF Suez to supply onshore wind farms in France. The financial details of the project have not been disclosed by the company.

The project is scheduled for delivery between 2012 and 2015. RE power is the subsidiary of Suzlon Energy

The shares of Suzlon Energy spurted 3.96% to Rs.30.20 per share during the last trade on BSE. The scrip has touched a day high of Rs.30.45 per share and a day low of Rs.29.10 per share in the trade so far.
