CPI stands at 7.65% in Jan

India’s Consumer Price Index Inflation stood at 7.65% in January, which is higher than the whole price index inflation.

Government has released Consumer Price Index Inflation for the first time, measures retail market prices of food groups, fuel, clothing, housing and education across rural and urban India.

The whole sale price Index Inflation stood at 6.55% in January, when the index touched 26 month low on the back of moderation in food prices.
