  • Bullion metal prices ended substantially lower yesterday and gold price hit a fresh 10-month low. Prices declined as the European Union debt worries mounted. The key outside markets were again bearish for the precious metals as the U.S. dollar index was higher and crude oil prices were lower.
  • Crude prices also lower yesterday due to rising future demand concerns as concerns about Greece and the euro zone kept their grip on the market.

  • Gold prices declined due to weak US economic data.   The market place absorbed a weak U.S. ISM business report that put pressure on the U.S. stock and commodity markets, including the precious metals. Also, the European Central Bank left its interest rates unchanged and made no hints at further easing of monetary policy, and that was also commodity and stock market bearish.
  • ISM service sector data pushed crude prices to two weeks low Better-than-expected weekly jobless numbers in the U.S.
